1993 £5 Sovereign Proof

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, Phil here, I've been following Numistacker's video for quite a while now, and decided to check out the forum.

Recently I chanced upon a 1993 £5 Sovereign Proof for sale at 15% over spot, should I go ahead and pull the trigger?

@Zhorro and @xthomasx, the coin is in pretty good condition, albeit with a very very small fingerprint on the reverse (I only noticed it under strong light) and some stains on the edge.

I decided to buy it and send it to NGC for conservation and grading. Will post a picture of the slabbed coin once it is returned.
