Next coin in the Ghana series?

Hi everyone, 

Last year we saw the release of the new Ghana coin series with the 'Leopard' 100 and 5 CEDIS coins. I had expected that there would be already a new coin in this series, but so far everything stays quiet. Does anyone have already some information about the second coin in the series?

Would it make sense to run a group ordered share shipping costs?

Exploring the group order option: currently the coin should work out about <£22; waiting for a dealer to get back to me. If there is interest, I can open a thread.

edit: it is not sensible to create a group order as no one confirmed their interest but the coin keeps selling out at the cheaper dealers within a day of becoming available for pre-order...

Bought a bunch from aurinum, of course now they pop up at gs.be for 5 euro's cheaper

That is significant, so I bought a load more. I love Scottsdale and I think this series draws a lot of attention. The blister and a quality capsule are unbeatable

Apmex has a max mintage of 8,500 coins and GS.BE has a max mintage of 50,000 coins. Big difference folks

Just confirmed with Scottsdale mint the the mintage is 8500.

I was told by a rep at Scottsdale they never had it for sale. They wholesaled the complete 8500 coins to about 10 dealers around the world. $10 over spot is insane.

It seems to me scottsdale really wants to fire up these series.
Wrong face value last year, low mintage this year.

They will hold their premium and I think it will increase as long as the series keeps going.
The design of the coins are different than other coins with animals.

The quality of the coins are just really good and with actual fitting capsules.
The marlin is absolutely stunning, such a shame that they didn't change design this year.
The queen looks awesome and very realistic, the water in the background is the cherry on top.

...then again, I think I am a scottsdale fanboy, so there is that.

I too, sir, am a fan of Scottsdale Mint.  I like how they incorporated the leapord skin pattern into the field.  Marlin piece is a wonder item.  The Mermaid Rising silver oz was beautifully executed.  Hoping for a series with these pieces.
