Hello everyone - I'm a relative noob to stacking but not to investing generally.

The 1914 Sovereign that I use as my profile pic is the first sovereign coin I owned.  It was given to me by my late Mother (absolutely top lady - but aren't all mothers?) and it was in turn given to her, along with one to each of her 8 siblings, by her Father.

I started purchasing a few speculative sovereigns as exposure to gold a few years back (2012 - Olympics - Jubilee - a fantastic summer) and got hooked. The sovereigns expanded to 1oz QBs and now they are expanding again into Silver.

I have both an ISA and SIPP which I manage myself and will share my tips and experiences on the Personal Investment forums

Thanks for a great forum, in the last week, I have learnt so much and saved money which completely justifies the premium membership

Hi Mike and welcome from Edinburgh - Mick.

Thanks Mick - I love Edinburgh, I'm up there most months as part of my other "stacking" hobby - Munro Summits!  Currently at 183/282
