Bullion by post don't seem to have reduced prices in line with the recent drops

Looks that way.  You need a sovereign priced at £256.06 on eBay, minus the 10% discount just to get it at the same price as HGM is currently offering.  You can "save" an extra 1% if you buy through TopCashBack.

Im actually struggling to find any Half Sovs/Sovs that represent good buying ...... even with the 10%!

If anyone has any ideas i would be grateful :)

This was the case last time, the lower priced items get hoovered up quickly leaving overpriced items.  There'll be item in the more numismatic, proofs, graded end, but you need to know what you're looking for.  I've been planning to do this, to have a list of vendors and items are decent prices... there arent many on BIN, the bargains are usually open auction.

And check vendors sites before pulling the trigger as sometimes they are cheaper than Ebay even with the discount.

Have you looked at higher grade raw and graded coins?

I haven't.  Honest answer is i don't know what im looking for, in the sense of knowing what represents good/poor value.

I do understand that angle may be the way to get the best buying using this discount so thanks for pointing me in that direction :)

I don’t want to step on @shawy2510‘s toes, but he beat me to it, he’s your go to seller right now, but I could do similar deal.

I have Bullion

2x 1958 Sovereigns

PM me and I can set it up.

Also I have, and we can negotiate the price:

PM me and we can take it from there.
