Buying PM's in Detroit USA

Hi guys,

More a topic for United States members, but as I am travelling to Detroit somewhere next months, are there any known local shops for PM's, and coins? There is of course the familiar "American Jewelry & Loan" store from the TV series "Hardcore Pawn", maybe they sell PM's if anybody knows about?

I never went to pawn shop to peruse the silver selection.  I'm curious about pricing.  As pawn shops do not like to lose money, how do they handle the value loss of silver after a spot price drop.

So I went by the America Jewelry and Loan shop last week. I made a picture of the PM's they showed and they told me they have even more but not displayed. Prices were insane though! About 3 times the regular prices..

Only thing I bought, more as a souvenir, was a 1987(birth year) Silver Eagle in a blister, with a very nice toning on the back.
