I get confused because I've already started lying about my age to everyone. Fun fact, the bank don't like it when you get super fuzzy about your date of birth!

Always 69?🙄

Id guess active in the internet communities it's mostly about 25-34, I'm in my early 30s

People going to coin fairs though seems to be an older crowd

It's very much a male hobby on the whole

Early 40s, got a 'calling' to stack/collect in June 2016 which I didn't listen to (always trust your instinct!) and started later that year - of course it turned out that day in June was a relative low for bullion price, and when I finally got around to it it was a relative high, should have listened to myself! Nevermind, I am well 'in the game' now :)

I'd have thought most on here are 30+, and the 'coin show crowd' as others have said would likely be more affluent middle class and older/hobbyists in general.

Anyone who is starting now in their 20s or earlier is in an incredible position for the future imho :)

Hey I like stamps too 😃👍🏼

Yes I started with stamps too (a short lived hobby in my teens). Then various relatives started to give me their old coin collections, some of which go back to the 19th century (which I still have - would love it if someone knowledgeable could look through the lot for me and pick out any gems).

I still have my stamp album from fifty years ago almost, full to the brim of Stamps.

When I started in the 80s (never got any further alas) I went to the BPS which was then on Fleet Steet in London I think. Got some very cool ones, including Soviet space program which were works of art.

How about a Graham Diamond stamp video about your collection and how it may have helped get you into coins?
