Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

£45 for a bullion 2oz Queens Beast lion from the Royal Mint including delivery, vat and a mint capsule. Not too bad at that for a single.

I remember a few years back Atkinsons done this with everything and i placed an order for about 20 kilos of silver costing like £40, lol. They canceled it on me, but no harm in trying :)

Give it a go, it might slip through.

It's £48.72 today. That is quite a steep increase in a mater of a few days. Are silver prices predicted to go up or something?

I only collect Queen's Beasts, Kooks and Pandas (a couple of each) but am not sure whether to buy now or not? Can you guys recommend somewhere decent I can get the above coins for a good price please?

41 pounds for a Griffin with Yorkshire bullion and it comes in a capsule. Bought one from them yesterday.

Their Lion is 48.99 though

Mick, sorry to be so ocd but what is the quality of the capsule? I am assuming it is not an  original RM capsule so how does it compare against it?

I have emailed the royal mint to suggest that they sell the capsules which they use for their coins to the public.  Will let all know what they say.

IT would be a very good idea and a good source of revenue for them. I would have thought that quite a lot of stackers/collectors would buy them.

I've asked the royal mint on more than one occasion if I could buy the screw capsules for the queens beast separately, the answer is always no. The only supplier I've found for these capsules is London coin company but they wanted £28 each:o

just another one of those things that makes no sense what so ever.

But if the royal mint buys them from the London coin coin company it might explain why their coins are so expensive.?

It's a nice tight fit as it took me a while to prise it apart. Coin fits snugly. I'll post a picture in the morning of the capsule.
