A proper silver bar

What kind of beer?  What brand? I'll be sure to make sure it is nice and cold.

I'll make a note of the date of your ETA. Just let me know the port you intend to land at so I can high-tail down there.

We could do a group 'Welcome to the UK'. Could be fun.

By the way, are you coughing up for this 'bar' you're delivering or are you expecting others to contribute?

I prefer it as its recovered, once its been melted down, refined and recast its lost its shipwreck status for me.

I agree that better to own the real deal in terms of shipwreck gold/silver or historic Pirate/ Roman treasures.  But still it’s quite a bit of fun owning even a recast piece of history.

Although I have just sold it here on the Forum, that little 10oz SS Gairsoppa Bar when it arrived in the post, facilitated a good 2 hours of conversation with my youngest lad of 17.  So much more fulfilling than the occasional grunt I know and love!

I have got my real pirate treasure Spanish gold doubloons & double doubloons from King Phillip II1556 - 1598 for my conversation pieces :)

Only coins I have on display.

A Samuel Adams Boston Ale, please. Oh, the kayak is a foldable so I will be flying over and we can meet at Brighton Marina after a float about for an hour to get some proper sea spray on me.?... Party!@caloundracats, I thought you could buy the bar.?

the other one listed on eBay has a box and book that come with it?  I just asked the seller if he has those.  Also it’s odd that it’s strapped to a board with the blue nylon straps, I wonder if he used a wire EDM in those spots and took the silver out of the center.  I’m not a very trusting soul lol
