Forget your 10oz Gairsoppa shipwreck bars, this is the real deal.

1041.1 oz (32.38kg)

If I had a little more tinder I would consider this.

Dont forget to get  your £50 off with the current ebay code ;)

i would have got it but it's only 999.3

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

COVID-19 is a cover story for the collapsing economy. Green Energy isn't Green and it isn't Renewable.

Around £606 per kilo  reasonable for a piece of history....

...this would make for a marvellous focal point in a large home/office.

I would say it’s a bargain for someone

We should do a forum crowd fund and buy it as investment with the bar held by admin.

Shares held in the bar can be bought & sold with the aim in the game to hold them all then take physical delivery :)

I would throw in a few £k .

Or how about a ByB Gairosoppa edition ;)

It says they may not post to the United Kingdom but I can't see them turning down a sale.

I would say they would ship it for the asking price they wouldn’t turn that sale down...like @mr-dead says though, I can picture the HMRC man waiting at the port with his clipboard and holding out his hand for the import duty.

The crowdfund is an interesting proposition.

@mr-dead

I love the idea of a community share fund like this - I doubt it would be possible though - think of the logistics to manage it and also keep track of who owns what share!

One day - when I have a proper secure workshop and can do silver pouring experience days, we could have this as the base for The Silver Forum. Come along and see the bar and pour some silver!

We can but dream I suppose!

Think that's an ebay default because they havent set international shipping.

So when do we see the ship/uboat design for the moulds? ^_^

You just set up a blockchain with 24,000 coins (Gairosoppa coin)

1 coin = £1 = 1 share of the silver bar.

Fully transparent and secure and people can easily buy and sell.

Setting up a GoFundMe account as we speak...“Free fundraising for the people and causes you care about” to ADOPT this incredible Silver piece of history! But, I do like @mr-deads idea. Will need an unsinkable “silver child” custody agreement however.

*desperately yanks at the ships plug* "Oh darn, would you look at that Mr taxman, it's only gone and sunk again!"...

This is only an ounce but more in my budget. In the UK too. Only 8 available. Certified as using silver recovered from the Gairsoppa. For those that are interested.

I prefer it as its recovered, once its been melted down, refined and recast its lost its shipwreck status for me.
