ABILITY TO FOLLOW PRIVATE SALES

I can click on any topic and click on FOLLOW, I then get notifications of any new posts and topics in there, today I saw some superb looking boxes on a topic I was following directing us to the sales page, on there is loads of lovelies that I didnt know were on the forum and would of missed these boxes otherwise, BUT when I went to click FOLLOW so I get a notification on everything new posted on there from now on there is no option for that, please can we have an option for that, as my old grey matter needs a prod sometimes, especially on a forum as large and busy as this one is.

I think that's to do with not being a premium member.  As a non-premium member you can't see the content of the new posts in the sales section for 3 days so there would be no point in informing you that a new post has just been made.  You just need to keep checking that sub-forum and when a post is 3 days old, you can see the content and hope there's still something nice left.

I dont mind getting notifications that there is a new post in that topic and it saying premium members only, just there is no option (unlike all other topics) to click on follow so that I get a message each time as a gentle prod to remind me.

Sounds like it would be a bit of a tease!  "Hey, there's a new sales post but you can't see it for 3 days"

Nah you just have to think, I missed this sale but I still have my money, there is a plus side to everything

Sorry about the late update on this, only just saw it.

Only premium members can view new sales topics for the first 3 days. You can follow any forum by pressing the follow button on the top right side of that forum, the follow forum button on the sales forums however is not shown to standard members, only premium and gold premium members should be able to view that and follow those forums.

Is there a way if a non member sells something he can make it visible to non members first only for the first day or two ?

When anyone lists an item for sale it will be visible to previous members for the first 3 days, after this all members will be able to view the listing (although most items will sell within he first 3 days) As a non premium member you won't be able to follow the topics though I am afraid.
