Hi Stephen. 1oz coins are a good size. Nice weight and decent price. But you are then talking yourself out of the queens beast 2oz coins, which are lovely!

Nice 1oz coins are britannias, kookaburras, American silver eagles, philharmonics. Then there are loads of higher premium coins. Depends whether you want pretty coins and a collection or just silver weight.

Hi Scorey, first research what you like the look of, buy only from trusted sellers and dealers (this site is excellent for recommending them and producing some), shop around to compare prices, BUT dont always go for the cheapest price, the quality and stress might not be worth your sanity, dont worry what size/weight to get, buy what you like, that way if the value goes down a little you will still love what you have.
