Thank you for explaining and sorry I missed that (particularly because I often pull the legs of folk who don't read the first post properly - 'karma' is a learning curve eh !??) I skimmed through but it looked largely the same to me, so i missed that.

It does make sense thank you, but it might make it uneconomic for me, we shall see! :)

No worries, I did think about commenting that you usually point people to page 1 ?

The 1% cap is cheaper than the fixed price we have done previously, but granted is still more than GS.be for their shipping.

Slowly but surely we will bring EU mint in line with them and all of a sudden we will have a cheap dealer that sells high quality condition coins with excellent customer service ?

You should have done, I would have enjoyed that! :)

It's not overall cheaper though is it? If I order more than 1% of the total I will pay less, but everyone else will pay more. I do understand it's much easier to sort out all the invoices etc for you though, which can only be a good thing :)

I'm not sure I follow - this might be another brain fart moment.

Let's say total order is €20,000

This means total shipping cost is €200

You pay 1% of your orders value in shipping. So if your order is €500 you pay €5

Granted, this is 2.5% of the overall shipping budget but it is still only 1% surcharge on your items.

Another scenario. Total order same as above. Your order is €75 meaning you pay €0.75 in shipping. This is 0.375% of the overall shipping but still 1% surcharge on your items.

So regardless of how much you order and how much everyone else orders the shipping is still the same - 1%

Feel free to point out my brain fart if I am having one...

Will there be a future option for making payments in cryptocurrencies?

Perhaps you can infer from my question that the question is a kind request, but making a request directly might not be as chivalrous as putting it in question form ;).

Regardless, for now, I'll be interested in buying some silver via bacs. Maybe in a couple of weeks time.

Thank you for organising these.

The brain fart was mine, sorry, so thanks for patiently explaining.

I had got confused between 1% of an individual's order and 1% of the entire order and for some reason got it into my head that everyone paid a flat rate (1% of the total - hope that short explanation makes sense!). Reading back my small noggin now computes :)

As you say it may be a little more but not much hopefully and we will see, it's certainly easier for you to work out which has got to be a good thing!

I realised I did read the whole first post so my 'hilarious interjections' can continue :P

Two questions BYB

1) I assume there will not be any more mini-deliveries until the final delivery from now on?

2) With the vacation you mention the owner is taking, has it been communicated to you that any delay to our order will occur?

Thanks

No more mini deliveries - that is correct.

We planned this order around his vacation time. He is aware of the time constraints in place and we have worked together to put the original schedule together.

I cannot guarantee anything - as I am dependant on another persons words - but I am confident that there will not be any significant delays to the delivery of our order because of this vacation.

@StackerNoob This is also why we are closing the order on the 19th August instead of 25th August. The owner is back in the office on the 25th and will get it shipped in that week. If we had an order closing on the 25th it would take 2 days to process and pay for that order meaning a further delay in shipping.

If I had known this would happen I would have mentioned it earlier - it was a surprise to me!

Of course I expect that you would have - hence why Im asking about possible delays. If this was unbeknownst to you, what other surprises might they chuck your way!

But what I really meant was I was skint last weekend. Payday tomorrow though!

Also wondering if cryptocurrencies might be available as a future option :D

I can take payment in crypto currencies. But you will need to pay for a number of things on top. The charges involved for the transfer. The charges from my Coinbase account and also the charges from my own bank account to recieve the funds.

Also, all of this takes time (as I have to get the funds released in Euros to GBP from a EURO bank account).

So you would basically have to overpay me by a decent margin so that I had enough balance to cover my fees. Then, once the funds are cleared and received I would refund any remaining balance via PayPal.

So, in answer, yes but I cannot see how it would be worth it compared to you cashing out to a bank account and then paying me.

If you want to find out more then PM me.
