Strike on the day is back

Recommended Posts

Well on this occasion The Mint have actually not copied the Sapphire Jubilee Strike on the Day as the Privy Mark is missing but it still has the Plain Edge.

I personally think it will sell out but nowhere near as quickly as the Sapphire Jubilee - but we shall have to wait and see.

I'm getting a bit fed up with these SotD produced for "minor" reasons.

What’s special about this coin .....

1) Unlike other coins that take weeks, months or even years to strike, this one only takes one day :)

2) Young George won't be struck on this day (seemingly, for once). Poor little mite, never seen such an unhappy kid :(
