Assuming we’re talking gold, I’m only aware of the sheep and monkey being issued as 1/4 oz versions and these weren’t released in the U.K.

I don’t think the zombie dog, horse or fat chicken have been released in that size.

The Royal Mint did sell the sheep and monkey on their bullion site the other year as a few of us on the forum bought them but the quality wasn't that good.

I have a 1/4 sheep, and assumed the whole range was available in that size like the QB. why just do 2 designs and not the others?

Eventually, yes, but they had been available elsewhere first.

I also bought one of each and got lucky, as they both graded at MS69.

I think they were probably a private commission (APMEX maybe).

I suspect whoever commissioned them eventually sent some back for the RM to sell on their site.

I believe they are commissioned by Goldco in the USA.  They did release a Rooster but I don't think they ever did a horse.  Most are kept in IRAs for their customers.

I guess the sales in this series are so low there’s not been much point producing multiple versions.

I’ll bet the RM wishes the lunar cycle was only 4 years instead of 12.
