The question is.... How many would you need to buy to build a Lego house.... Time to dig out the Lego blocks :)

Haha, I'd need quite a lot more :P Brings back childhood memories.

I like them but they are a bit 'precise' with their weights...

You get a much better deal from BYB ?

Just when you thought you escaped him, he is brought up in your own thread.

Please do not reply to my threads anymore, I won't reply to yours either. I hope you respect that. It's best for both of us.

Hahahahaha, well it is a forum open to all after all.

As I used to say to my boys when they disagreed, bang your heads together and then be friends. World has enough problems. Just a suggestion, if you don't like, ignore it.

Well, if I post in his threads they get deleted immediately, so I guess it's not open for all? I wish there was a block function, the ignore thing isn't working properly.

That's because it was a rude and unnecessary comment directed at an individual.

This is to all.  Keep your thoughts about other members to yourself.  Discuss any topic and product you want but not about other members.  Don't like them or their comments, ignore.  Simple.

I like the gold lego one too. Thanks for posting. Is that an employees gift?

If I understand correctly it was a gift to a couple of long term employees/relations. I believe max 10 in circulation (I could be wrong).

I was ready to move on, but these two individuals keep replying to my posts. I have now ignored both of them, but their replies are still showing.

There is a leave forum function. Click it.

Please delete this. This is clearly harassment.

Here's a reminder of the rules:

I should be spending time with the wife not sat here cleaning up and reminding people of general forum etiquette.

What a lovely idea - and generous. New version of the gold watch I suppose, oh, just realised you are in The Netherlands. Here in the UK it used to be the norm for long serving employees to receive a gold watch on retirement.

The Lego-gift is from the 70's and 80's, so that tradition is over as well. I'll start hinting to my boss, but I doubt it helps...

Yep, not many of them about and fetch a pretty penny.

As a Lego fan I decided to have my own made in 24k gold.  I do also have some sterling silver from ollie and a couple of the monarch ones too.
