London coin fair June 2nd

It's time for the next London coin fair heritage ngc grading will be there to. Anyone going will be good day

I didnt enjoy it last time, save for meeting @PansPurse briefly. I didnt see any decent prices for anything, all bullion silver was a minimum of £18 per oz and the 2018 sovereign was going for more than you can buy it directly from the mint. Ill skip it this time I think.

I will be going to visit certain coin dealers. I managed to pick up some 2002 and 2005 bullion sovereigns last time at very decent prices.

The majority of the stuff is overpriced.

I definitely think it's a place for looking rather than buying much, and I'm also definitely thinking historic curiosities rather than good value numismatics or bullion.

How does that work?  Can you just roll up or do you have to belong to NGC?

No they do all the work you pay when they come back from ngc. You just take the coins to the coin fair

Just roll up - Heritage use their own membership to submit your coins, and it's by far the cheapest and safest (insured post - I don't think there's any other way to get that to the US) way I've found to send coins. Their exchange rates for the grading are very competitive, and even with the 20% VAT they charge I've never had anything graded cheaper (via NGC - no experience with PGCS).

I would pop along, just to meet @BackyardBullion but I'm washing my moustache that day, plus it's the wife's birthday. Maybe next time.
