Not sure what type of bird it is but It's back side looks a little odd.  No tail feathers?  Not sure if it wants to be fed or it's screaming.  Either way it doesn't look too happy or like paradise to me.

Looks like it’s been shot with an air rifle!

Might get 1 as it looks pretty cool and there are different types of birds of paradise...

"The 39 species of birds-of-paradise include tiny, starling-sized birds and big, crow-sized birds; birds in vivid blues, greens, and reds; birds with head plumes, tail plumes, back plumes, chest plumes, and no plumes; mountain birds and swamp birds; branch dancers, pole dancers, ballerina dancers."

Looks like it will be a continuous series but think it will be more 'exciting' than seeing kookaburra, or emus in 'different poses'...?

Won't be anywhere near that many. "Australian" bird of paradise. About 4 species are strictly-speaking found in Australia.

True, didn't think about that! Be interesting to see what they do, will it be a continuous series or different poses etc...

I think they might take the same approach for the swan, which will finish as a 3 coin series (3 year). So with 4 species of bird they might do all 4 and that will be the series done. We'll see, i suppose.

Banks transfer or PayPal F&F are really the only options.

I have to protect myself so I cannot accept any payments in the form of credit/debit cards or PayPal G&S

That is the problem, that was why I was asking for alternative methods. Bank transfer for me takes 3 days and you told me you don't want me to send the money before the weekend, so if I send in the weekend, it won't arrive before wednesday next week. and I don't have a PayPal account.

You can send via banks transfer and we can balance up the shortfall or overpayment after the weekend. I sent you a message with your total.

Yes, we all do - it's in the first post on this very thread

There's no need to get snarky over a legitimate question.. I read the post, but was asking for additional payments options.

I think this a case of "lost in translation" from the written word not being interpreted the same as the spoken word. Knowing @kimchi I think this is a case of healthy British sarcasm ?

Sorry it was taken that way, it wasn't how it was meant - BYB is more or less correct - it's what masquerades as my 'sense of humour' :P :(

What do you think the chances are or getting a 10 oz queens beast coin without any scuffs or scratches?

I understand that they are all delivered in capsules from the mint so I guess they would be fine.  The coins in tubes seem to have a higher probability of scuffs.

Maybe Mr BYB noticed which types of coins had better success of being scuff free and which ones are more likely to be scuffed.

Would be useful to know.

Thanks.

All my 10ozers from GS.BE have been in perfect condition.

The added attitude they add to each envelope keeps them in good nick! ?

Currently stacking 10oz Unas and Britannia bars

Only just got my last lot from the post office depot, but I'll be having a look tonight for sure... Is there a website that shows what www.goldsilver.be is selling?

(now THAT'S sarcasm!)

Byb i guess the 1 oz silver DRAGON & TIGER 2018. Wont be a part of this order since ship date for them is June 25? Just asking incase.

The date the have is an estimate so might delay the order beyond the 25th June.

I will drop Eva an email and see how likely they are to have them on time.

This is the kind of scenario I hate - the problem is that these coins will be fairly popular and likely to sell out pretty quickly (almost certainly before we go back for another group buy).

I will investigate and give you an update when I can.

OK

I have made an executive decision with regards the Tiger and Dragon coin.

GS.be have 125 in stock right now. I can see these being popular and selling - certainly before the group order swings back towards GS.be

So - I am going to go ahead and say YES to these coins. I have had an email from our friendly belgian customer service representative that they will have the coins on or around the 20th June and then ready for shipping on 25th. Only time will tell if we get delayed again.

But, that seems to be to be the best option.

So, new deadline is now Sunday 24th June and that hopefully means that you will all have your coins around the end of the first week of July.

I hope this is OK - if you have any major objections to this or would like to voice your opinions please do so on this thread.

im confusion i know the dragon and tiger design is really nice, but im confused why it is so popular for such a high price 1oz coin

Because the first iteration (dragon and phoenix) is performing very well (€45 each) from a €25 price.

Profit to be made perhaps, but it is a risk.
