What's going on in the COT?

If you have been monitoring the usual channels, you may be aware that the Commitment of Traders report is showing something in the Silver futures that we have never seen before.

This should be a massively bullish sign. But as ever we'll just have to sit tight and wait to see how it plays out. 

The only thing I would be sure of is that I would NOT want to be net short right now!

Yes, this is the thing.. The silver COT numbers are not confirmed by gold or any of the other major commodities. We'll have to sit tight and see how it plays out.

Mike Maloney talk about this. Also look at AGE sales too. Sales have fallen off a cliff - PMs are now the ultimate contrarian play.

We have moved to record positions in the COT positions now.

Commericals are actually net long.

Managed money is record net short.
