Whats the expected delivery date on the package reaching the uk?

7th May at the moment.

But it might be the 4th - 7th, it just depends on when they get the coins we are waiting for.

I hope not: gs.be is at least for the Queens Beasts more expensive

The EU mint are currently cheaper than GS.be for all the 10 oz QB coins and also all the 2 oz QB coins so things are looking good for them in the future.

As to who we will use in May - I had planned on doing an order with GS.be to catch some of the larger offering of coins they have compared to EU Mint. There are a lot of people that want some of the more obscure coins that are considerably cheaper at GS.be

So most likely the next order will be with GS.be but I am open to general feedback and consensus from everyone involved in this group order when the time comes.

Currently we are at 1075 oz of silver having spent a whopping 18,500 EUROS collectively.

As per the agreement I negotiated with EU mint shipping will be capped at 1% of the total order value, so in this case 185 EUROS. Basically it means 1 Euro for every 100 you spend.

Also, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has joined the order - big or small orders. I am blown away by the level of trust you have all placed in the Backyard Bullion household. Really is amazing when you think about it!

Mrs BYB and I could make a run for the Caribbean - if we werent weighed down by nearly 34kg of silver + weight of capsules so probably closer to 40kg!

If anyone else wants to join in I will need your orders and money before 6pm tomorrow night.

Also, delivery update. Provisionally we are looking at week commencing 7th May but I am optimistic we will have this delivered by the end of next week 3rd or 4th. Either way you should all have your coins hopefully by Friday 11th May.

Might I be able to add on x5 Canadian Predator Wolves BYB?

I saw on your video that Euromint are offering price matching? Does that apply to these coins as they are 16.16 euros on gs.be and 17.13 on euromint.

I may also want a 2oz QB bull, depending on the answer to above.

Let me know, cheers.

Hi BYB,

Just had a thought when I was ordering some goodies on the Group Order. I think it would be a good idea if someone from the group who is IT proficient could produce a simple order form to help the ordering process.. This could simplfy the ordering process and might make life a little easier for you as everyone would be using the same format. The form could list all the usual suspects such as 1oz Brits,  2 oz QB'S, Eagles, etc. Anyone wanting to order something not on the list could simply add the item they want to order in a blank spaces at the bottom of the form. You could add whatever you like on the form such as, your disclaimer, a column for name, date etc. This could help to clear any ambiguity that may arise.

I would have a go myself but afraid I'm not too clever with this type of thing. If you think it could be a goer - we could ask for a volunteer(s) from the group to produce a draft form, and then ask the group for suggestions to tweak the draft into something that everybody is happy with.

I might be able to simplify it significantly with a simple windows application.  Assuming most people have a windows computer.

Seems like lots of people have a mac's or only use a phone these day.

Obviously gets a lot more complicated the more operating system it has to support.

Other options would be to attach a spreadsheet created using the free LibreOffice software.

I think this is far too complicated for what is actually a pretty simple process if people do as I say in my instructions.

If you send me a shopping list with hyperlinks I will be able to give you a quote within a few minutes.

So - If I do anything it will be a simple Excel spreadsheet that you put a hyperlink into with your quantities and then we are done.

To be honest - the way things work right now is fine - I am able to get everybodys orders quoted and sorted and unless we start ordering 5000 oz per month I am good with things right now!

True.  One of the things developers suffer from.  Making life too complicated.
