2017 1/4 Sov or 2007 Brit. Silver Proof Set .. Which to buy?

I have another dilemma this month.

I can only afford either one.  I had advice about the 1/4 Sov that it's better to get the Full, but that is beyond my budget. I can wait and hope either one is still available next month. The 2007 set I have 4 different sources. The 1/4 Sov I have one source but with 3 coins. The Britannia Set is 1/2 oz coins with different designs.

Are you determined to get the 2017 Pistrucci? I think it’s definately better to go for a 1/2 or a full rather than a 1/4. I see them regularly for sale so you shouldn’t miss out but they’re not cheap

My vote is on the 2017 quarter sovereign. I’m all in for the 2017 special design! But better yet to wait for some sort of deals like eBay bucks and then get the half sov or full sov

 

I didn’t spend much time looking for the price history but it seems it’s quite stable at $250 for the quarter sov in PF70?

Wait till you can afford the half version of the sov, I think you will find the quarter painfully small, I know I would.

Get the 6 coin 1/2oz Britannia set, the 1/4oz sov is pathetically small I know I have one.

Don't love either option, but I wouldn't touch a 1/4 sov
