Group Order Negotiations - 10 oz Queen's Beast Dragon & More

Recommended Posts

I have been getting a lot of people asking about the 10 oz Queen's beast dragon coin.

It is currently available on GoldSilver.be for 164 EUROs but not available until 15th April, so too far away for the current group order.

But, I will be organising a group order for these coins one way or the other.

I am currently negotiating with www.europeanmint.com as to whether they can beat the price of GS.be in which case we will probably use them.

If they cannot supply them at a competitive price then my plan is to open up a group order in Mid April for these coins.

Now, what will really help us (as a forum) is if we can give some feedback to European mint on some of the most in demand coins that people would want to buy. If we can get a list of coins that will be popular and that people will want to buy in decent volume we can get some buying power to help EU mint match or even beat prices from GS.be

So, if you are interested it would be great to hear what coins you would be keen to buy over the next 2 months.

The idea here is to find out what type of coins would be best suited for bulk buying from EU mint.

Comment here so we can get a short list of coins that people might want and we can go from there.

I'll be putting in for 15 x 2018 Britannias (though I will probably up that to 20 by Sunday morning!)

I've decided that Brits are going to form the basis of my foundation with hopefully a regular purchase of 20-25 each month, with random months being a bit of gold as well. Originally I was thinking of bars, but after comparing price per gram for 20 plus coins against one standalone bar of similar weight, coins appear to work out much cheaper.

Should hopefully have my list and payment etc over to you by midday.

Which beast you going for?

Well, all queen's beast series coins are going to be popular, but the newest releases will be the ones to target.

The 2018 Chiwoo Cheongwang is available from Goldsilver.be on May 4th which is just a little too far behind the 15th April or I would have added these.

Sadly I cannot see something like this being so popular that the European Mint could justify ordering enough to be competitive with GS.be

What generic cheap as chips bullion would people like to buy? Aside from Britannias what is the next most desirable item? Phillies, Nuie Owls etc.

Do gs.be coins/brits come with those plastic coin covers or are they separate? Just wondering how they generally pack large coin volumes to prevent banging around in delivery packaging for dispatch.

They put them in clear plastic bags - then they put all of them in a jiffy bag. Some get a bit dinged though!

If 25 or more are ordered they come in a tube.

With uncertainty over the VAT loophole with Brexit, and the rock bottom price of silver at the moment, I'm all in on silver for the next 12ish months. My purchases will be as follows:

Tubes of 2oz Beasts

10oz Beasts

And then possibly Britannia's.

I will be contacting you at 7.59pm tomorrow for my group order purchase request (last in first out right? ;)).

Currently stacking 10oz Unas and Britannia bars

Thanks for the feedback!

If you might be so kind as to do it slightly before 7.59pm maybe that would be very helpful!

I would definitely want a QB 10oz Dragon and the remaining 7 to come! Would like to join Group Order's for all the forthcoming 10oz QB's.

Not really thought about my next Silver coin buying strategy but clearly Britannia and QB's are universally popular.

For me Rwanda wildlife series, truly think these are stunning coins and seem to do not bad in value as years go on.

I’ll second eagles thinking forward.

Unfortunately I will be on a zero gold / few oz silver a month for the foreseeable, the only series im interested in this situation is landmarks and qb’s.

if no new releases of those come out it will be government bullion- primarily ase’s and a couple of brits to keep me going ?

marvel series looks interesting, and its Perth Mint.

10 oz QB definitely looks good right now, but just single on for my self or double and have one set to sale in future ? Not sure yet?

Tokelau fish series very possibly, not bad looking series. Possibly.
