2018 1/10 oz Platinum Britannias Announced

Was just putting in my pre-order for the new Queen's Beasts coin and noticed that Apmex is taking pre-orders for the 2018 Great Britain 1/10 oz Platinum Britannia BU.

This looks to be the first time that the Platinum Britannia is available in 1/10 oz size.

I went ahead and picked up a couple as my first ever platinum purchase. I much prefer the "dotted" background behind the Queen on this year's BU Britannias compared to last year's "spackle" background.

What do you all thing of it?

They are tiny coins heavy for the size, I like them. Expensive but comparable with silver premium wise, they will be more liquid if you wish to sell quickly. I am also confident the premium can be recouped if selling privately. A few quid above spot will sell, especially when platinum has gone up, you know what people are like.

Would you by any chance have some pictures? Or maybe a comparing image? I'm very curious now... :)

The 1/10 Gold Eagle is 1.66mm and the 1/10 Platinum Britannia is 1.65mm in diameter; due to the optical properties, more recessed design and more pronounced reeding (to deal with the heavier metal) it does look smaller than it is in hand.
