Exactly.  I'm waiting for a slab with LED or neon lights, I can use it as a night light!  I'll pay triple the bullion value!

Gem Proof/BU means a 65+ grade and is probably the cheapest way to slab/authenticate coins that wouldn't catch a premium otherwise (I suppose the dealer preselected (or even the grader) and slabs the scrap as gem brilliant uncirculated while the 69/70 coins get a proper grade. 

This might be the safest way for some forum members who are unhappy about the state of their purchases from bullion dealers.
