I think I might be done from here since I'm already pretty stacked (most purchases made between 2005 and 2007).

If price takes out $1400 I'm really not interested in chasing it. If we get a deeper pullback towards $1,000 then I'll surely get itchy fingers again.

I'm only interested in silver Britannias (imported VAT free) and gold Sovereigns / Britannias due to low premiums and CGT reasons (as above).

Depends on how my crypto portfolio performs, I've sunk £800 in and I'm going to hold until I hopefully see 3k, then it's as many Britannias as I can get and a tube of Somalian Elephants as I've always got one of these since I started in 2014.  I've also got to keep getting Privateers, Egyptian gods, Four Horsemen, Queens Beasts and Rwandan Lunars as and when new ones come out as I'm collecting these.  Got my Perth Lunar 2 ounce and half ounce which should see completion next year also.

Got to pick up the silver kilo dog.  Got all of the other kilos so far in the run so I definitely have to complete the series. Was hoping for a bit further fall in price first but we'll see.

New profile pic to support the current thing, because it's current year.

No goals here really

Just going to wait and see if the right coins and opportunities present themselves, whether they be new releases or good deals on Ebay etc

The only coins I'm guaranteed to get are any 1 oz silver proof QBs released

As for silver I'll be continuing the bullion series and date runs I've been gathering so far which would account for maybe 15 ounces, then pick up a cheap tube of pure bullion 1 oz silver from Europe at some point. So probably no more than 40 - 50 ounces in 2018 I think.

I hope to gather a couple more 1/4 oz gold britannias too.

Damn, I mean, I'm looking at total year spend of a grand or two
A grand or 2 is a big amount even still, many people don't save anything. If my partner found out I was spending that much again this year she would flip. Even though it will benefit her down the line I just don't think she understands.

I'm in the process of picking up two poured silver 4 tael bars from Hong kong.
So only a little bit of silver and gold for me in 2018.
I might pick up a Chinese medal at some point. And a few old graded European coins numismatic pieces.

Good lad. You know your priorities :)

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

This year I am working on stacking more, I ended year with just 11oz of silver and I just purchased 12 of the 1 oz silver Britannia coins. I am also buying 2 X 100g silver bars which takes me to my end of year 30 oz goal. Going forwards I am going to buy 1oz of gold for every 30 oz of silver so I have my eye on the internet looking for what 1oz coin/bar I will buy in gold. I am open to suggestions and I plan on making youtube videos of my orders this year and hopefully on a monthly basis. Mainly for my personal use, like a diary.
