Very nice indeed mate! :) How long have you been here, it's only a month or so isn't it? :o

You're already ahead of probably well over 90% of the population when it comes to PMs, feels good eh? :D

Luckily you don't have a wife as your collection grows!

Some lovely coins there but apart from Darth Vader (would love one of those!) and bottom left (?) you have more or less assembled a rogues gallery of possible milkers. Nothing wrong with that if you got them cheapish, but definitely secure them airtight and with dessicant packs and anti-tarnish strips.

Anyway a lovely collection of different types, you must be very happy! Can I recommend you the 2016 and 2017 Kooks to add to your collection? 2018 looks like a possible winner too - a complete change of style and the moon's been heavily criticised by some but I think it's a very bold and different design! :)

Thanks.

Yeah only been collecting a couple of months. Bottom left is Landmarks of GB Big Ben, so another potential milker! Paid £17.50/oz for each of my silver coins from silvertrader, b/grade lucky dips. Do have a missus but she is supportive.

Probably get stoned for blasphemy but just don't like Kooks.

Looking forward to a few Eagles coming on the BYB group buy, love the look of them for some reason. :)

That all sounds grand! What a lovely way to start a collection - with a variety of coins :)

I'm a huge fan of the elephants myself, just such a shame about the spotting, they are really stunning coins.

Don't like Kooks? - blasphemy indeed, but no stonings around here! It's got to be personal taste hasn't it, otherwise what's the point in collecting (which you are clearly doing so far) rather than stacking?!! I am shocked if you've had a 2016 or 2017 in hand and haven't fallen in love with them, but then some folks are not too fond of Pandas either  LOL. I don't like many of the Kook years myself but the last few have covered themselves in glory for me!

Despite the reputation an Eagle is one coin I'd love to own too one day, good stuff.

Soz - typo (damn spell correct!). I said 'don't' have a missus but I meant to say 'won't' (unless you are very careful lol)! :P

Lovely start to your collection JB.

Great idea to take  a pic as you start out and perhaps document it for the rest of us so we can watch it grow over the coming months and hopefully years.

Good luck

Thought I would update the collection info as I have had a little spending spree lately. Why Not!

Gold

I now have all the Vic Young Head decades apart from an 1850's (soon to be added) and an 1830's (hmmm). Halves

3 out of 5 London Mint Jubilee Head. Halves

Edward VII full date run. Halves

A couple of Liz II proofs. Halves

Isle of Man 1979 Proof. Half

Somalian Elephants 16,17,18. 1/10oz

5 random George V. Full sov

5 random Jubilee Head. Full sov

2 2016 Brits. 1oz

1oz Baird Mint bar

The Gold Half oz or there abouts collection

Half Krug

Double Sov

20 Pesos

(Half Gold Eagle next)

Silver, not much love I am afraid.

A few Eagles, 2oz Griffin and a few other bits.

Eagles are the only silver I really like but every time I think of buying some more I buy another half sov!

Might dip my toe in the Morgan pool at some point.

Thanks for looking.

JB

It lives up to the hype @Roy I believe @mr-dead says it's his all time fav.

Its nice to have something with so much lustre as most of my purchases are old gold and I refuse to pay silly money for MS grades.

Are you thinking of getting one?

I've got one ?

I have trouble deciding what to do with it though. Would you grade it?

Not my scene, I like to hold my coins once in a while, sorry Numi.

Had you down as a 50 Peso man @Roy or have you got one of those too!

I still can't do emojis so just imagine a wink or a smile as appropriate.

I am still after one of those 20 pesos - lovely coin - had to sell one a while ago. Only problem is I keep getting distracted by OLD silver coins and keep spending the cash before it accumulates lol. I need a lay away plan.

No I don't but I do agree it's a great design.

American coins would be another huge collection that I cannot justify or afford ?

I'm trying to collect coins that have future potential other than just their weight...

Oo-er....I've become Numistacker ??
