Managed to get a 1829 sixpence at a good price. It has just arrived and it’s a beauty. The date run I am collecting is more or less there now. Just a few pesky expense ones to save up for......

Thanks if you like that one I've got another in the pipeline......just you wait......it's a simlar case with high grade or certain types of Morgans over here!

That's true, I can get decent morgans all day for $18 a piece.. No Carson City's but decent. I need to find someone over there that wants some Morgan and Peace Dollars and trade them for some .925 crown coins. 👍

But those Morgans are nice in high grades! How do you source your Crowns? Dealers in the States? You may have to look at UK coin dealers though it would depend if they ship across the pond.

I only find them at a rare coin show or sometimes on ebay….

If on ebay expand your search to worldwide and generally you can tell if they're a business but I'd message them to see if they ship to the USA also find out about import fees.

Me too - though I suspect they are very different items. My jaw hit the floor when I looked inside the catalogue and saw my dream coin. I hope to be able to post a picture of it on here post auction......I am NOT religious, but I will be praying like a drunk teenager, who has just been caught by his dad, during the auction.....................

BU and Proof versions of the latest (5th) in the 2 oz Destiny  Knight Series.  Have always been able to get them from APMEX in the past as they were released, but had to order directly from the issuing company this time.  Also picked up a few odd silver ounces that I didn't have examples of.  2018 and 2019 Elephants, 2018 Bird of Paradise and 2019 Swan.
