Out of interest, how do you know something like this is genuine?  Its not like a sovereign which is reasonably easy to test (known size, weight, etc).

Leap of faith partly why I want to send it for verification. 

I noticed a couple on a numi video the other day. Curious to knows who they were. Think 1 was real and 1 came back fake.

Haven't got pictures yet but ive got a gruffalo gold coin and 2 proof ones. Im sure i will get mine i got them at 1.05 am this morning and paid so pictures to come might flip the gold and one proof will watch e bay prices. I missed out on the snowman so stayed up late this time

I wouldn't bank on getting them quickly. I ordered my snowman coins b4 2am last time and didn't receive them for well over 3 weeks.

These big bars have many uses, your right they are always nice and cool to the touch and on a hot day they are a great substitute to a cold flannel on the forehead, gently rolling them on ones forehead cools you down or soothes a headache or hangover- they are also fabulous doorstops- and a fantastic cosh if someones attempting to break in to steal them- a lot more practical than on first glance- Nice bars.
