Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Something big and shiny arrived this morning. It's not something I normally collect but I think the design is one of the prettiest around so I couldn't resist when I saw this.

What's the weight on this might save for one as  I am an avid poker player it would be my card cover

Weight is 88g, I paid €135 for it including shipping, so it's an expensive piece. But so worth it!

€135 for 2.83oz of silver?

Much nicer IRL than compared to the pictures. What did make me laugh was getting in early means you get the last packaged ones, so despite being one of the first I would imagine I have the pleasure of certificate numbers all in the 40k's .... did make me laugh out loud!

I scored one without the box and COA for £150 a little while ago from a scrap dealer. Basters had out a nick in it to cut to check the purity :( But still pretty cool.

:o WTF, why couldnt they have taken it from the back of the bar where it wouldnt be so noticable, or drill a small hole in it that could be filled with silver, I wouldnt let those butchers touch anything of mine.
