Went to Austrian mint on good Friday with some friends  , the mint in central but not tourist central/ central I didn’t expect much from there probably same as royal mint experience, boring   . Staff in aus mint are friendly and helpful all the way to the counter ...... , they even do a quick special tour for us without booking , however no factory workers are there and no photos are allow 

And they got it right  ,20 Chinese people walk in there is not coincidence they must be up to something  ( Chinese normally very low profile until  they take their wallet out ) ,

here is some of the stuff my wife purchase  ( I wish she paid for that .......not )

An 1898 Veil Head full sovereign , which could be over stamped 1 over 1 and 9 over 9

Today was not just a good day as @BackyardBullion says , today was a fecking awesome day .

 

First I picked up my part of the group order from the sorting office .

Then just as I got home the postie turned up with my 2014 Britannia 5oz proof which is absolutely stunning , looks mint to the naked eye I'll get it under the magnifier in a bit for a proper look but very happy with it for the price I paid.

I wasn't expecting it to be such high relief , Britannia has got some proper curves to her !

Toldya the 5oz is a high relief strike – not comparable to the gold or 1oz silver. You enjoy ?

A 1909 full sovereign turned up today from a fellow forum member to add to the date run, only on the look out for a 1902 Edward sov now then it will be onto another date run ? Maybe the jubilee head or veiled head set, I also still need a SA and a Sydney minted sov...the list goes on and on ? 

The close up pic, I was just messing around with the camera and I don't think it came out that bad

More likely die cracks, if you mean the lines joining the letters?
