Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Soooo ...... just another routine 39 sovereign pickup for about £10,000 then @sg86.?

Congrats - big respect.

Something like that, there are a lot of die numbers to collect so this is the easiest way for now!

Good news is I'll have plenty for sale at some point because I have a few duplicates already :)

Rim looks similar all the way round, 3 phots are roughly 120degree rotations.

more high res photos arranged. I could do with buying a new lense, this has lots of small scratches on

Polished imo

Today was a fecking awesome day .

First I picked up my part of the group order from the sorting office .

Then just as I got home the postie turned up with my 2014 Britannia 5oz proof which is absolutely stunning.

I wasn't expecting it to be such high relief , Britannia has got some proper curves to her !

Toldya the 5oz is a high relief strike – not comparable to the gold or 1oz silver. You enjoy ?

You always need help :D

That's true;)

But to answer my own question, it's probably ok as long as one doesn't "fondle" it too much,  It would introduce wear for one thing! :P

Received an 1859 Young Victoria Shield Gold Sovereign in what looks to be VF condition from a seller on eBay. Also looks like there might be misaligned die evidence on the 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock edge of the obverse.

More likely die cracks, if you mean the lines joining the letters?
