1902 half matt proof.

I’m still undecided as to whether I like the matt finish or not. I think probably leaning towards not! It does have an interesting glisten though when reflecting light at certain angles

This 1887 S sovereign arrived today...

The year 1887 is often synonymous with Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Head, but for part of the year the Sydney (and Melbourne) mint did continue to use the Young Head, which is what this is...

The Australian Branches also produced some Young Head Shield Back sovereigns in 1887 but these are very scarce to rare.

Getting into the silver Republic of Korea Chiwoo Cheowang and Zi Sin Gallus series. Stunning details - and these are just thbe bullion versions from Komsco.  Proofs look pretty nifty as well.  These are 2017 and 2018 regular and Scrofa privvy.  Looking forwrad to the 2019 editions
