The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

2012 Proof Sovereign PCGS PF69

bought of ebay the full sovereign sold for more money than the double ...

I Watched these on eBay, and was going to bid on the 1/2 which ended up with the Quarter as being bargains. Unfortunately I got caught up at work and missed them. It’s interesting that the 2 Sov made relatively little, the Sovereign you bought, was a great buy.

I got a 1/10oz proof platinum eagle and a 2019 silver panda. I love that slabbed panda. I would love to complete my panda series by back back dated coins.

Easy and affordable enough. You only have to go back to 2016 to be current on the 30 gram series silver panda. 1 Troy ounce series silver panda is more daunting and expensive from 1989 - 2015.

Here's my collection so far, with a 2019 on its way soon. (Apologies for poor photo quality.)

I got the 1995s from @DavePanda and he may have some others available. There's also @Agpanda whom I've also bought from in Sweden.

For completeness I also bought a fake 2009 coin (not in the photos) - was on ebay for £10 delivered and I sent an offer and got it for a fiver delivered. From a distance it looks OK but it's twice as thick as the real silver pandas to make up the correct weight! It's also useful as a reminder of what to look for.

That's what I want to do. Start at the first date and go to 2017.

Finally had my framed "mint your own" silver proof arrive today from when I had a behind the scenes visit to the mint.

Taken while to come seen as I was there in the middle Sept.

Daughter in the pic so its not me in a dress lol.

£165 for 12g of sterling silver and a little gold plate 🙄

sry for bad quality of pics, hate my camera :D

Sweet slabbed panda. I love it when the pandas are in those holders. I know the coin is more important than the graded slab but they are worth it.
