Also from Chards Bonanza last week - my first gold Wiener Philharmoniker. Never bad at under £960 for an ounce of gold 😉.

Me too ! And the IOM 1973 sovereigns. Was a stressful week ...but in the end I grabbed the Big Phil as a bullion buy.  Now i have it I really like it, but i still regret not getting the Aussie .

Got my hands finally on a "home-graded" (opposed to bulk graded) MS70 Dragon. They are actually as hard to grade as Griffins (16 vs. 19) but those bulk submissions distort the figures quite a bit...

Now just waiting for the grading results for my Unicorns – Bull and Falcon waiting eagerly.

I’ve left mine in the packaging but it’s not creased like yours.  Did you get it cheap because of the damaged packaging?

They seem to go on eBay for around the £20 mark regularly with good packaging.

Same price here, undamaged on the picture, but the packaging and shipping did this..

At the end of the day its yours and up to you what you do with it, I think the packaging detracts from it, I would remove the packaging as carefully as possible, save it incase you decide to sell as its good proof it is genuine, and display it in a way a coin like that deserves.

Thanks for your opinion, thats my first thought as well.. The packaging detracts.. Now, on the Look out for a capsule this size. Sucks that capsules are so hard to come by in NL..

That coin gives me a bad taste for what the royal mint did with the whole "its spendable - actually no it isnt"
