Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Hmmm I'm tempted by the Two Dragons! I might buy a roll . Where can I find the Egyptian rounds? they look nice.

They are made by Sunshine Mint for Provident Metals and available on Provident's site.

A whole bunch of German 800 fine cutlery.

I love shiny silver forks, spoons and napkin rings. I find it so hard to value knives that I don't bother with them unless it's a distinctly solid / decorative example, like might be found in Christening sets. Any tips on the kinds to look out for that aren't generally filled or hollow? Perhaps fish knives and butter knives are more likely to be silver on both ends.

I think most knives are filled so not really bothered with them either. These came as a bulk lot though.

Most of mine are graded except the 2014 half sovereign and the 2015 both of which I bought and have kept in the red cards. Am keeping on the lookout for when PAMP release the 2018 version.
