The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. Luckily yes. Not such a great buy at it's current premium.

I also note their listing is all over the place, completely wrong year range, and misleading photo showing 1850 when they are only st. george. Don't buy them thinking they are shields :D

Very misleading indeed. But I never expect shields when buying from bullion dealers.

Do they (or hatton) ever get shields in? I haven’t seen any although only watched closely for the last few months

Sourced another 1887 half sovereign, much happier with this one, looks genuine! :D

Where did you source and what price did you pay if you don't mind saying? It looks like a very nice coin.

The same with postage added but its a much nicer coin. Yet to hear from Atkinsons, they have the other one back.
