Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Just had a closer inspection of mine and the Queens side appears to have a yellowish tone. Didn't notice it at first and it doesn't clean off either.

Also my Perth Mint kangaroo 1oz silver bars appear to have the same that I bought a while back. Need to catch it in a certain light to see it. At least they're not proofs

They have a nice idea to appeal to stackers and numismatists both. I hope they do Lunar III series this way. If they can improve the finish.

Thanks for feedback, I have some on the way. Interesting about the 2017 kangaroo bar. I was wondering if the quality / finish was the same?

The matt finish is the same on the front of the bar. They both have an appearance of being handled but in certain light it looks like a yellow tone.

Both bars are identical in size and I need to source the correct size capsules for them as the spare ones I bought for 1oz JM bars are a bit too big.

Last one of the 1902...promise. Trying to get better at the photo/lighting. Thanks for all the advice!

Some 50% silver half crowns and my free 1/2 oz courtesy of @BackyardBullion and the European Mint (lovely coin, and impeccably packed as always):

Also, is it just me, or have they somehow given the Queen gills to match the shark?

Nice coins!
