Yeah to get them that clear has taken a long time ?,I will buy a lens to go on my phone and take a few more when I can.

Only the very rarest ones or those in exceptional grade.

Some more antique silver:

1849 gothic florin. The inscription omitted the traditional Dei Gra (by God's grace) so these were dubbed godless florins.

Plus an 1818 George III shilling (I think)

perhaps one to send off for grading...

Just collected a lot of 50% Silver 3d. Some nice grades to go into the collection, the rest will go into my scrap pot. Best part was the whole lot only cost £10!

Not the highest quality and I wasn't even lookingfor morgans but was only  £50 and thought quite well priced!

Wow, quite a few there, they’re about 25p each in terms of spot?

76 in total. Around that yeah. I find that it's a very good way to get cheap silver if you don't mind storing it. Also makes it more interesting as you can build up a nice collection of pre-decimal coins.

Today my 1979 proof sovereign and pound note set arrived in the post with thanks to @shawy2510

After a long day at work, its nice to come home to the one's I love...the Silver Variety that is.   Here we have a nice set of Birmingham 1922 Rat Tail teaspoons/coffee spoons made by Docker & Burn in fab condition,  a 1892 Zar South Africa 2 1/2 Shillings Coin and another 1922 Peace Dollar for the stack.  All bought for a low price from same seller on eBay who also combined postage, fantastic deal late on Sunday night, unloved by other bidders, their loss my gain.  

A small stack of mixed  BU Silver coins, thanks @arshimo2012.

And some nice capsules for my soon to arrive QB's in the Group Order, thankyou @BackyardBullion for organising the order.  

 As well as a Valentines gift for the other one I love, with thanks to @SilverStan  who beautifully crafted this Silver Heart which is destined for my wife to hopefully keep things sweet and enable my new found love affair to continue!

Yet both have a face value of £1, one is practically now worthless the other is worth about £240.

Demonstrates fiat nicely.
