These are Perth Mint lunar series 1

2oz Proofs.

Today I received my 2013 Panda NGC graded MS70. It was only dispatched a week ago from the states.

Tracking indicated it was still in the US and lo and behold it got delivered about 10 minutes ago! Well chuffed.

As an added bonus there were no import charges or customs duties woohoo!

Nice Bosse, 1990 is the first of the proof 1oz  kooks and has a mintage of 21,671 are you collecting them as the rest have fairly low mintages, with at least 12 of them having a mintage of below 3500

How many proofs and Bu's have you got so far Bosse.

Only 1990 Proof, 1991-2009 + 2011-2014 BU´s round caps, and 1992,1995 and 1996 square caps.

Also have a roll 2014, a 1995 round cap and a 1992 square cap extra.

Trying to get a few every month from now on, but also started collecting koalas and pandas

Nice you have a very nice collection of BU's,i started to collect them but only have 6, I do have 12 1oz kook proofs though but I am not collecting them actively now.

 

I'm still chasing the 2oz proof kooks though, I'm still after 1991,2001,2003,2004 if you see any in your part of the world give me a pm.

Postie brought me a present today.....

Advertised as having very minor milk spots, but they ended up being on the capsules, the coins are absolutely mint!!!

Not bad for under £20 a coin.

I would have bypassed this series if I hadn't have seen them at such a good price, but I'm glad I did now. Very nice coins and designs indeed.
