I have a Baird & Co 1/2 oz rhodium bar I'd like to sell.

Its still sealed in its certi-card.

I have the relevant paperwork detailing my purchase from the manufacturer I'm happy to share.

I've not traded here before, and I wouldn't be comfortable posting using paypal so I'm looking for a cash / collection trade.

located in Kent, UK

thanks!

It's not a good start my friend.

You've been advised what to do and still no price?

Alarm bells.

easy tiger! you're not dealing with a sophisticated metals trader here! I bought a bit of bullion from a shop, price has gone up, now I want to sell it. And the incentive for someone who was interested in picking some up is they could buy it from me cheaper than they could from the manufacturer. apologies if ignorance triggers alarm bells!

I think if you added some photos it might help.

Best advice is to take some photos with your username and date on a piece of paper so people know they are real rather than just taken from Google.

Also, you might struggle to get someone to meet you as you are a new member, dont take it personally but not many people would just turn up to meet a total stranger with £650 in their pocket.

Postage (Special delivery) would be £7.50 which is not a lot compared with a £650 purchase.

Just my advice for new sellers...so not meaning any offence

@8phwt

You might also want to consider if an established member of the forum is interested sending it to them first and once they have it and have verified it is real they would pay. Then their feedback would be a great starting point to help you sell again on the future.

thank you - but it would need to be cash and collect. obviously meet somewhere neutral and secure, like a bank.

I take on bard what you say about getting some feedback - and some photos but as I stated I'm not looking to post.

OK - but from experience you won't sell it that easily if at all.
