This MUST be a scam right?

So I just spotted this eBay listing: There is no way that could be genuine in my opinion. Interested in others thoughts.

    Liberty Coin On ebay Credible?

I have been looking to buy a 2016-P Australia Silver Lunar Year of the Monkey (1 oz) - PCGS MS70. I normally buy from JM Bullion but I wanted to look around first. I found one that is being sold by Liberty Coin on ebay for about $25 less than JM Bullion. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them and if they are reputable. They do have a 100% positive seller rating, I just like to do my research before I buy from any dealer especially on ebay. Thanks!

Hello all A new member here. I have seen the above item on ebay, How can the seller justify that price if you can still get this item on the Royal mint bullion site for around £95? (See link below) I'm new to gold and silver collecting, am i missing something? or is the seller just hoping for somebody buying this who has no clue about coins? Best regards ARGAR
  5. Does anyone know of any ebay sellers that could be persuaded to become members here and cut cost in the trading forum?
  6. Hi members, I'm new here! I'm from the Benelux and amazed at the prices you have to pay for silver on UK websites. (probably b/c of the VAT en Pound/Euro ratio). But even more appalled by the premiums people are willing to pay on Ebay or other online trading websites. Not so long ago I had a conversation with a silver seller on a Dutch Ebay-like website. He offered silver coins that he priced 3 euro's higher than you would pay for through a "certified" dealer. When confronted with this, he said "Just be patient". What do you guys think? Will this market ever change so we can trade for "real market value" instead of this scam-like nonsense. You'd think these online trading sites are the ultimate opportunity for silver/gold traders, however we've let it become a theatre. Are there any new/other options available? And why do you think people pay these ridiculous amounts?

    Any flippers out there?

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on flipping. In other words, buying a certain coin with a view to selling it further down the line. I've not yet got to the selling part, but I've picked up a few extra coins here and there and will be looking to turn a bit of a profit on them which can then be reinvested into more silver bullion. I'd class myself more a stacker than a collector but still think as part of a diversified plan it's worth adding a few potential flippers to a delivery as it could pay off. Anyone else gone down this route?

Were you buying silver back in 2011?

Particularly aimed at those buying silver on eBay during this time, what do you remember the activity on there being like? Was it a mad rush whenever anything was listed that it was all selling like hot cakes during the rise to $49? I've been picking up the odd bit of pre 1920 British silver coinage here and there and wonder what the mood was at the time on eBay for stuff like this. (yes I meant were not where in title!!) Cheers Danny-Boy for editing that!
