As I've said before, and what you've just said proves my point, grading is a rip off. It plays on the greed on people thinking they can command a higher price when selling.
 
I know some of you like slabbed coins, and each to their own. But in the long run, I'd rather buy 2 scratched/scuffed/milkspotted bullion coins than one slabbed "if you give me a lot of money, I'll tell everyone this is a perfect coin" one.

Not today, but over the last few weeks I have received lots! Some Phillies, lots of Maples, couple of Britannias and some .925 commemorative coins.
 
I now look at the clutter around my house and see it in terms of “how many 1oz coins could I buy if I eBay that...?”
 
What started as a way to ‘save’ a few hundred quid a month has become a full-blown obsession. I blame you lot!

My first Panda came today. Just got the one because I really wasn't sure if I liked them from just looking at photos, and they are pricey. It's growing on me I have to admit. Always nicer to have and hold (yeah with gloves on, don't panic) than to see in a picture.

I feel like being contrary and saying it could hold around 11.13

So, just got my first Perth Mint coin today - and it's nothing really special, only a Koala (so not worth a photo), but I can see why the PM stuff is so well regarded on here. Exceptionally good finish and a really beautiful coin. Very tempted to get myself a Kook. God help me but I think I might end up... collecting this stuff
