  1. Thank you very much for all of your comments guys. I have fed them all back (thank goodness for copy and paste). I should be taking a commission really, shouldn't I, haha
  2. Hey @Zeuk, thanks for your input What do you mean by; ''can easily get more over the space of a few weeks'' ? I just worked out this second that going by the current spot price of £20.45 a kilo would work out to be £657.48. Aaaaaaahhh, so he is selling under spot.
  3. A friend of mine is selling his entire stack! 😮 His stack consists of 20 x 1kg Metalor Silver Bars and he has been offered £640 a piece for them? He got them from Chards. Is that a good deal on his part in the current climate? I did say to him he could sell half and keep half (seems a shame to dump the lot.) Cheers
  4. I wonder what a fair price would be today for the 100 oz Una and the Lion Silver Bar (5th April 2023) with spot price currently at £20.01...
  5. Beautiful coin. Never seen this one before. Where did you buy yours out of interest?
  6. It's a sign for help ... Get me away from the Ark, it is so beautiful, I want it, but, no, too much, help me. Don't worry, my finger is no longer on the trigger, and I have walked away, for now that is, lol. Maybe if there is more of a dip I will take a ride in the boat, after-all there are 9 units left...
  7. I can hear you both chanting in the distant @James32 and @Fenlander1 as you watch me with my finger on the trigger ever so slightly moving ... ''Do it, do it, do it'' 😆
  8. I know ... *audible gulp* ... Where are you looking?
  9. I don't know about top 8, but I do have 3 currently sitting in my basket waiting for me to delete two to then finally pull the trigger on the remaining coin in the basket. The choices; Buffalo 2022, I love that coin so much, already have a few from that year and from the year before too so maybe time to diversify. The other two contenders in the basket are the 2023 Somalian Elephant, and the 2022 Armenian Noah's Ark, with the latter looking a real beaut.
  10. Thanks for your input @chasetyre. Do you mean the shipping country of origin, or Royal Mail adding their own handling fee? Seems not worth it if not only would someone be charged VAT, but an import fee on top as well. I did just think I could order to my friends address in Ireland, then get them to send it to me as a ''gift''. From my understanding something sent from Germany to Ireland would have no VAT for example as it is EU to EU country. Interesting what you say about ''numismatics'', thanks for that piece of info.
  11. Bugger, I've closed the tab now, LOL ... I'll see if I can find that needle in a haystack. I definitely did read something about a reduction from 12.5% to 7.5% for customs, let's see if I can find it again ... ... Several hours since I wrote that last sentence above, in which time I went around in circles looking for the link via my history, and could not find it, argh. All I can find now is what you mentioned about India which is not what I saw before. Will be one of life's mystery's.
  12. Is that right @LawrenceChard ... I did have a quick Google search, and found some info (on a gov website, I think), and it said that custom charges on Silver had been reduced from 12.5% to 7.5%. I have gone into the habit of not really believing anything I see or hear unless it is going by anecdotal experiences.
  13. Right, now that the current dip has got my attention I have been window shopping. I have seen a lovely 5 oz Silver coin but it is being sold in an EU country. So, I was wondering, what has been the experience in regard to ''how much'' one is charged in customs fees? In line with my question, I have been purchasing supplements from a U.S based company for years and suddenly January of last year the customs fees abruptly stopped. I have used 2 other companies in the U.S to buy things, and again, no customs, so something has changed there. If someone can give me a % of how much is charged (if anything) then I can see if it is worth it. Cheers.
  14. They have sold 1 bar over a 3 day period, with 849 left in stock, so they don't look to be that popular.
  15. I won't be selling mine either. Agreed, they are much more beautiful. I am very surprised actually at this poor design. It's awful! Just got myself some 2022 Gold Buffalo's the other day; Much nicer!
  16. I agree! I actually purchased a few of the Una & the Lion Gold bullion bars, and they are beautiful ~ I'll be hanging onto them. This is just tacky. No ta.
  17. Moi Also following the whole RV / QFS situation too. Are you aware of Dr Scott Young? He recently done a 3 part weekly ''Nesara Explained'' which was extremely informative. Parts 1 & 3 spoke volumes to me. Just watched Part 3, and everything fell into place for me. Needless to say I am pleased to have very recently thrown a few more ounces of Gold on to my stash via the form of 2022 Buffalo's ~ My favourite coin.
  18. Thanks for your input @modofantasma. So you purchased Gold from Greece with no extra import fees to pay upon arrival?
  19. Thanks for your comment @SilverStorm. I guess whether I buy it directly or a bullion dealer does there is the possibility of some extra import charge I don't know about. Adding a middle man would also add an extra fee too I would imagine, for their time and trouble. What to do eh.
  20. Thanks for the link @Fadeingstar. If it is just a handling fee from the delivery company I am fine with that. Just don't want some hidden tax I am unaware of running into £100's of pounds to bite me on the bum, as much as I love the coin I am eyeing up. Maybe I should just take the plunge and hope for the best.
  21. I have seen a Gold coin that I really would like to buy, but it is from a company in Israel. Thus, my question is, do we have to pay customs on Gold? There is a non PM company based in the U.S I have been buying from for years now, and up until the end of 2020 I was paying customs and a Royal Mail fee on each and every order, however since the beginning of last year I have had no customs or Royal Mail fees on several orders with that company, and others too. Naturally, I don't want to be landed with an unexpected hefty bill. Cheers.
  22. A-ha, you are correct. I have a RM tab open at all times on the bullion page, and I am now getting this queue message too since refreshing the page. I wondered why I was going in right away when I opened a new RM tab. Of course, I got to the front of the queue when I was not looking, and got booted to the back again, lol. I wonder if people are suddenly going bullion crazy what with recent world events.
  23. I have the 10 oz Silver which I see is 'No longer available'. Stunning coin that I am regrettably going to be putting on here for sale as my real estate project needs the cash injection.
  24. I happen to have the 1/4 oz Gold Proof Rat. It is a stunning coin, and I really want to hold onto it, but will be listing it on here soon as an auction. If interested let me know and I'll let you know I have listed it
