Ahh that is a special piece, well done, it would be interesting to see what a grading company can do with it. I have a much less impressive example of a recovered shipwrecked piece of silver in the form of a 2014 quarter Oz Brittania from the SS Gairsoppa that submarine torpedoed and sank in 1941 off the south coast of Ireland and was rediscovered in 2011, please excuse poor photos

A nice original 1809 Eight Reals with Ferdinand VII on the obverse. Minted at the Mexico City mint. Picked this up yesterday.

Out of 47 bullion shield sov dates available from 1838 to 1887... 21 to go. I've a few more knocking about but they're duplicates 

Ultimately you’d like to think if the auction is have decent they will have check it with a sigma verifier.  … think I read some where that it have been tested?

also to split the shipping cost bought another koala

After sending plenty of clear pictures of the changed address label , Christmas card and other details It has now gone to the signed Declaration stage. Have just sent these forms off and should hear back within 72 hours 🤞 
Will also drop into a Police station and report the Fraud and get a case number. I'm fairly sure the Police will pay him a visit in Merseyside.

This is very positive news, in the sense that the buyer won't get a refund 💖👌

Thank you for telling us your history, it really brings home the reason that many have held sovereigns over time.
I know that, as a couple, we hold them for security for ourselves and wider family, should the need arise.
We hope that they will never be needed and that they can be utilised in time by others.
