Thank you Numistacker for all the infos provided by you on your you tube channel and on here.This is my very first intervention on this forum which I got to know from your videos.I will try to introduce myself to the audience these days to come depending on my availability.But lets say I am Sacha  a frenchman who is collecting gold coins from all over the world and a lover of sovereigns.I have a very  little knowledge about silver but this will obviously change as I am trying to expand my knowledge in every possible and numismatical way.Cheers!

Nice Libertad Set received today. A tiny 500 mintage of each weight of Gold Proof in 2015- all in sets.  Not an easy set to acquire.  With thanks to @Fivepoundfred for the opportunity to buy this beautiful set.

Received the two coin Britannia pack from the Royal Mint today. The coins are in cracking condition. I’m not however sure if I will keep this as it doesn’t really fit into my current planning...you may see this on the sales pages very soon!

Finally managed to get my hands on a 1KG coin! Anyone know if there are other sizes for this coin in 2015? (I can only find the 1KG 10oz and 1oz)
Also can someone recommend in a presentation box for these?

Not really fussed, I've still not sent a coin to grade ever! I wouldn't take it out of PCGS slab and put into NGC that's for sure though.
I know the coin is nice and that's why I bought it, that's all I need to know 😍

A couple of beauties. I picked up the Panda today from The Coin Cabinet and couldn’t resist asking about the 2001 Proof whilst I was there. What an absolute gentleman Andreas is. I cannot recommend them more.

My first Gold pieces arrived just now. Small but perfectly formed.

1939 Proof Victoria Shield - PR62 (en medaille) - It is believed that the coins stuck in medal alignment match the Una and lion and therefore are from the coronation set.
This coin is undergraded in my opinion, I've got another PR62 that is nowhere near as nice as this, and seen other that are verging on "manky" and still got a PR62. It was obviously graded some time ago due to the old label

Managed to pick this up to sit alongside my 2017 PF70...

 

I have repatriated this 15th century treasure back to the UK from a superb US seller. The photos don’t do it any justice, its absolutely stunning and I’m very pleased!
For those interested, it is an Edward IV Gold Ryal or also called Rose Noble only minted between 1464 and 1470 and the year in that period identifiable by the mint mark in the legend, which on mine is a little difficult to ID but its a Long Cross Fitchée, if in any doubt (see the close up) there were no other crosses used in the period they were minted. This mark puts it as minted between 1469-1470, making it even rarer, only just before Henry VI was restored to the throne. On edwards second reign the mint started producing Angles which are entirely different design. The coin was minted in London, identifiable as no letter in the waves beneath the rose / kings vessel.
7.61grams of gold and approximately 35mm in diameter.
Side note: The coin was also imitated on the continent in the mint of Gorinchem for around 100yrs after this date (and also thought during Edwards exile in Belgium), these are often referred to as a “Flemish Ryal”.  Identifiable if put alongside each an original, one difference being the continental copy is often slightly larger in diameter.
NB, if anyone is wondering what the lump of dirty metal is in some of the photos, its an original brass coin weight for the Ryal that I was able to pick up from someone that had found it in the Thames mud. It was only a few pounds but I though makes a nice collection.

Thought I would add this recent purchase. It’s the 2oz 2020 Kruger proof. Apparently the first year of the 2oz coin. 
 
I also bought some light reading. Yes it’s about sovereigns!
