A modern take on the Caballito.  Released in 1985 this 250 Pesos commemorates the 450th Anniversary of the Casa de Monéda and the at the time, the upcoming México 1986 Football World Cup.  It's a 1/4oz fine weight, gross weight 8.64grams .900 Gold and proof finish. I wasn’t expecting the plain edge. Nice coin.

Home from work today to two deliverys of Mexican beauty's the 1947 un peso had been in transit for a month and and star of the show is the 1921 dos peso and was only minted for one year.

I think it was the price. When I was first looking it was around €30

Recieved a very pricey bit of silver! This medal was supplied with Patek Philippe watches on thier 150th anniversery in 1989 - I have not been able to find out if all watches had one or just some models.... Its 35 grams of sterling.. But the silver value is irrelevant in its value as an item in this case... Its two of my obsessions in one package so i had to have it! Plus i know i will never get a Patek watch so this will have to do 

Not had it yet but chuffed to win this for only £12. Very few people know that America minted these 1944 colonial 2.5 Gulden, specifically Denver Mint. They melted down 60,000 out of a 200k mintage.
