Hey, believe me, I wish I had a Highland Tiger telling me the stuff I bought in the start of my PM journey was a load of old overpriced tat. Instead I had a number of forum members who were flogging the stuff telling me I was doing the right thing. (something I still see happening)

These sets from makers such as Pinches are not worth much more than scrap value. There is no collecting market for these overpriced items. 
Personally I'd clean them using a silver dip and a soft cloth. You might add a few percent extra on the price you can get. 

They are mass produced medals, made specifically for their aesthetic value and as such, heavy toning like yours spoils them IMO. They are currently little more than bullion.
Personally, I would draw a distinction between these and coins of numismatic value and happily dip them if it restored them to their original condition.

Glad they arrived ok... There's some age in that little hoard!

I have the original sigma with all the wands plus the bullion wand, as I have with 10 Oz , plus kg bars any coins the bullion wand is needed. 
I have found the sigma great with gold not as good with silver.  Silver it will get you nearly there you will still need dimensions of the coins bars.

Perhaps a bad example, if it was Mark Carney you would know without doubt that the prediction was wrong.

Here is my humble collection (Pic Heavy) I dont have much but what i have i enjoy, the 4 royal mint Masterpeice medals at the back are my fav items, particularly the Ryder cup medal, engraved by Jody Clark with a mintage of 100. each one is 8 ounces of .999 hallmarked antiqued silver and they really gave me an interest in collecting again.
the gold jewellery is a mix of 18ct and 9ct (mostly 9)

Fresnillo still has 2 mines closed (sick).  Plus one mine is mining low grade because of machinery problems.  F-ck when someone sorts that out if they ever do the shares will go right up. 
I always read the Annual report before I buy, not that I understand it all but It gives me a better understanding of a company. 
 

Has anyone noticed what is going on on the forum sales section!  New buyers are buying up nearly all the Gold and they will pay big premiums even bigger than Chards prices eg bullion Gold.  I for one question why someone would not seek out the cheapest source available, unless they have bought there yearly allocation from the Dealers that are still open. 
As some  of you know i am a keen watcher of prices, i use price fluctuation prediction to buy my PMs which i stand by with my own money which i lose if i make bad decisions.   I personally think Gold will increase in price but will pull back when traders need cash.  This will be at the same time the mints come back into full production.
