Thanks Gordy. these are coins that I have come across amongst a range of other coins in a tin which my mother found after my father passed away last month. There is a fake 1823 double sovereign too. Would folk on here be able to advise if my half sovereigns are real. They certainly look right. I have done remedial measurements but done't have all the kit to do the specifics as per the buying guide on here. Can I post a couple of pics? Not sure how people are with this kind of question 🤷🏼♂️ thanks

Hi all, I have 2 half sovereigns to sell. Was going to use EBay but worried about unscrupulous buyers. My worry is someone buys them sends back a fake gets refund and keeps my coins. does this happen or am I too paranoid?
