Well that was surprisingly quick, as the 2020 sales were only published a month ago?
    But here they are!

Apparently, not only did they miss the January release, but the March release has not been included in the forward plan.

Oh no way they will end this series. I suspect it is among the top 5 ranges in terms of popularity.
And the best monarchs are yet to come.
What I wish they would do is decide to introduce Edward VIII. Now that would blow this series up something good. I bet the golds would be swiped in a matter of minutes.

After the non appearance of the expected January release, Iโ€™m reading more and more speculation that the RM has binned the series.
I really hope not, I will be sad and annoyed in equal measure.

Very simply, the overpricing of historic coins and โ€˜setsโ€™ by the RM in recent times is immoral.
It replicates the worst behaviour of the Sunday Magazine rip off companies, but is worse coming from a trusted organisation with unique and privileged access to the back catalogue of British coins.

A 1/4 oz gold proof Noble in PF70.
Other than this Agincourt Privy issue, I know of no other 1/4 oz gold proof Nobles that were ever struck.
Mine came in a certificate saying number 10 of 600, but I've only ever seen one other of this type for sale.
I've therefore decided that mine was the last minted and there are in fact only ten.ย ๐Ÿ™‚ย

What about this one? 150 actually issued, only in the six coin set. Even fewer of this one๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฎ

None of the silver will win, all will be available below RRP in the coming months.
Generally, 5 oz silver has been a consistent loser in recent times, even with tiny mintages.
