It was a fair price and you'll get the same premium when you come to sell.
It looks like the coin has been marked (rubbed) by the plastic sheath...unfortunate but you bought it for the reverse anyway! 👍

    Hi Relm,
TBH, it would help if you said who you bought it from and how much you paid for it.
It's a bullion coin, if you paid bullion price then you got what you paid for. Anything over 5% and I'd be miffed.
I'd remove it from its plastic, it's already torn so you've nothing to lose., then you can have a proper look/take better photos.
As Liam says, a good dealer will listen and make amends. It's all about the premium.

    Silver is a terrible investment!
The only time it goes up is during a Global Financial Crisis or a Global Pandemic
It truly is a 'doomsday investment', to hope for a silver profit is to hope for the worst.

Thanks for all your help @GavinDevon
The 1931 SA sovereign arrived today. I’m getting closer to completing the George V, small head Sovereign collection.
Six down (two not in the photo) four to go and that’s all ten of the George V small head variety.

Two nice Sovereigns received today from @SVcollector, a first year for George IV 1821 Laurette Head and a first year George IV Bare Head 1825. Thanks Chris 😃
And a nice contemporary 1821 Sovereign weight to compare them with 😂
Also received a lovely MS62 first year Victoria Jubilee Sovereign and a 1998 first year 4th IRB Elizabeth II Portrait.  Both from the @CoinsOfTheRealmAuctions- I forgot to claim my Platinum Membership discount- maybe Louise you could credit my account 🤔
These four Sovereigns are now struck off my list in my quest for a x18 Modern Sovereign Change of Portrait ’Type Set’ from 1817 to present day 😬
Just four to go- can anyone help with: 1831 William IV; 1838 Victoria, 2015 Jody Clark Proof and 2016 Proof- please get in touch 😃

I think we gold bugs often overlook a very important social point. I can only speak for the UK here by the way.
But I don't think most people think of gold as money. People know gold has value but it's generally viewed as simply jewellery, and a couple of old coins etc. I suspect many people are quite happy to liquidate it for what they consider 'real money' (fiat currency - ironically).
Bitcoin does something else, kind of like stocks/shares or a bank account of sorts. I guess people think of it as an investment vehicle, a quick shot to turn a profit, kind of like gambling/playing the lottery, money in the bank. I just think as a model it fits into what people expect of money in the modern world.
Perhaps the Keynesians have just been very successful at removing gold from its recognised role as real money, in the eyes of the majority of the population. They've clearly failed with us of course, but what percentage of the population think like we do, or can see gold for what it truly is?
This is of course is a cultural thing. Go to India and the situation is very, very different of course. Gold is and always has been valued.
