Nah joking aside, it's frustrating when you don't get something you want and are stuck having to pay more. It's like when I went into Woolworths and they didn't have those coconut mushroom I like but the pick and mix stall did outside but they were 10p per 1/4 more so I went all out for Woolworths and said they need to change their business model and reported them to trading standards and everything... And where are they now huh.... Yeah I did that people. 
I did buy the sweets from the other seller also for the extra money.

Barry, let me into a secret.  It’s possible to get to the top of the RM list.  All you need to do is nip into the Wheatsheaf in Llantrisant.
There is a chap who drinks there on a Friday night a goes by the name Jones.  He is the head of Quality Control if you look for the chap who is most dishevelled with shaky hands you have found him.
A pint of bitter, 20 Rothmans and a packet of pork scratchings and he get you to the top of the list for a new issue.

In fairness, chards normally charge LESS for new release proof sovereigns from what I see, they certainly did with the 2022 and am sure they have done many times previous. . Profit to be had below mint prices, regardless if direct or not supply chain? Just saying!

Note how the braid on the "full stop" coin is Dutch rather than French. (Don't ask... just look at how the braid is plait). 😅
That said, the 1847 Gothic on the RM site also has a full stop, not a colon (and French braid)... 🤷‍♂️

 ive got a nice 'little black book' now of loyal stackers and collectors who are happy to deal with me on back of previous forum deals and consistent 'not greedy' pricing

For Platinum, perhaps call it the PGM section to fill it up a bit?

This was all predictable and logical really. From what I has hearing the vast majority of the Arms coins were sold with continuity and most of the ones who missed that option were on to the Mint about changing as soon as they realised.
Then we started hearing about the Mint emailing buyers of the Arms, the ones who presumably hadn't taken up the continuity, offering them the Portrait.
Result, all allocated before release.😁

I'd support that, but I think you'd be making a rod for your own back.

I've reported dubious coins to @ChrisSilver and the moderator team before and the sales posts have been hidden pending the seller's response. The system works well.
Remember, the admin team are enthusiasts, not experts, as are the sellers. I'm sure there is no malice involved, it's easy to make mistakes.
It's how the mistakes are rectified that matters. As Steve said,
That's what makes this forum the best.
 
As for the 'other' problem,
I completely agree, it's annoying. 

But wait...
Duncan is now a platinum business seller, his listings are comprehensive, well written, with great photos, specifications and reasonably priced. He's an asset to the forum as his many customers will testify.
Perhaps, and it's only a suggestion, he should have a dealer sub-forum or indeed become a forum sponsor? He needs his own space!
