    Oh that!
I could say it's my experience in handling thousands of sovereigns, of all years and mints, but let's just say I have a very keen eye for detail

The biggest giveaway of course was that Lawrence had cleverly titled the photograph 😎

I think it will be a sell out as it has a lot going for it.
It has the same Royal Coat of Arms design as the Proof Sovereign, a much lower mintage at 1,200, and of course is matte and plain edge which is always lovely (imo).

No, not the coin, just huge kudos!
P.S. Can you send me a P.M. with next week's lottery numbers?

Hey everyone, I’ve heard that the 2022 SotD Sovereign to be released on February 6 2022 will once again have a matte finish and plain edge. The design will be the same as the Proof Sovereign. The mintage is supposed to be 1200.
Haven’t yet heard of any other special Sovereign to be released - I have been hoping (like some others here) for a platinum Sovereign... I still have hopes. 😅

Turkey cannot be allowed to collapse. It is the key to holding Asia, the Middle East and Europe together. It is the Jenga piece that cannot be removed without the tower collapsing.

the silver price is not being suppressed.
it's price is only rising long term in line with inflation as opposed to other commodities whose price exceeds inflation.
silver is falling out of favour. just as platinum has fallen out of favour in recent years versus gold. why would anyone
bet big on platinum if catalytic converters have an uncertain future? similarly why would anyone bet big on silver if
electronic power delivery, traditional photography, etc has an uncertain future? massive technological advances have
been made in computers, which reduces the need for silver, directly or indirectly. eg a solar panel powering a 45W
laptop is going to be physically bigger and need more silver than a much smaller solar panel that is required to power
a 25W laptop. over the generations, modern day 25W laptops are equal or more powerful/useful than the older 45W
    laptops that they replace.

I can't believe people still fall for the 'silver miners opinion that the silver price is too low' charade.
how is it not glaringly obvious that silver miners(who's business is to sell you silver) will only ever
have a one sided view that silver is under priced?
when was the last time you told your boss that they are paying you too much for your labour?
how about each year when you tell them that you deserve a pay rise for the work that you do?
a gsr of below 20:1 is a gimmick that silver pumpers tell potential buyers of silver. it's a sales
tactic that means nothing. read up on it, it was centuries ago when silver was deemed valuable
enough to be valued at it's natural in ground ratio to gold. spoiler, miners 'will not' as opposed to
'can not' mine more than ~10 toz of silver for every toz of gold. reason, they simply can't find
enough buyers for the additional silver that is mined.

Look I respect your point of view, I don't want to wade into a conspiracy debate, and in actual fact I agree with many of your points, eg Chilcott, New Labour then Call Me Dave governments being intertwined with the Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks and co., and Russia being a prime example of how this works. Though they do it slightly differently by funding opposing campaigns such as both Family Values groups and LGBTQ+ groups, then let it be known that they are funding both sides, so that nobody knows what to believe. The Adam Curtis film Hypernormalisation explains it better than I just did.
However, where we differ is thus. I too have a heavy pedigree of life experience, and what I have learned is that where there is injustice, it is 99% incompetence and 1% conspiracy.
The BBC was the main employer of celebrity paedophiles for decades. I believe that's because the BBC didn't care who they employed, and they didn't really care about the victims. I don't believe there is or ever was a Pedo World Order running the government of this country or the USA or anywhere else.
The state of affairs we currently find ourselves in is such that the directors, editors and journalists at the BBC and elsewhere fundamentally do not understand what is going on in the world. So they can't seriously be capable of manipulating narratives in any meaningful way that would influence public thought. For better or worse, that power lies with the social media platforms, and those who use them to full effect in propagating ideas.
I do not credit the BBC with the aptitude or competence to control the minds of the population of this country.
Rant over. In summary, I don't think you're wrong, more like, you're probably right but maybe for the wrong reasons.
